Responsibilities
  • Be part of the project team to design functional & technical solutions for Payment system functions, APH Systems, and integration with internal & external systems. Monitor implementation of solutions.
  • Review current and legacy solutions, providing feasible target solutions considering existing limitations, including modernization of legacy payment applications.
  • Collaborate with Enterprise Architects and project teams to ensure solution architectures comply with enterprise principles, standards, and guidelines. Act as a bridge between enterprise architecture and delivery.
  • Prepare the journey landscape from AS-IS to a Target Strategic landscape.
  • Design and influence market best practices deployed for the payment landscape.
  • Conduct detailed studies of the AS-IS landscape and dependencies from a Payment ecosystem perspective.
  • Design critical systems/applications aligned with business expectations and constraints, utilizing tactical and strategic solutions.
  • Develop, document, and present comprehensive end-to-end functional solutions to the architecture board, ensuring implementation aligns with design.
  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders (SI partners, product vendors) to deliver end-to-end solutions.

Experience & Requirements
  • In-depth experience in Payments, Cash Management, and Transaction Banking projects.
  • Good technical and operational understanding of Payments & Collections/Receivables (e.g., Cross-border TT, RTGS, ACH, Direct Debit, Instant Payments, Virtual Accounts).
Secondary Skills (Nice to Have)
  • Knowledge of Core Banking functions, General Ledger posting, Pymt FX processing, STP efficiency, AML, Reconciliation, and Cashflow.
  • Understanding of regional regulatory requirements and payments-related risk controls.
  • Experience in Supply Chain Finance, Trade Finance, Cheques, and Loans processing.
  • Strong operations and testing background.
