Job Summary
The Country Manager - Singapore will be responsible for overseeing RedotPay's operations in the region, with a strong focus on licensing & compliance, brand building, payment channel development, and market expansion. This role requires a strategic leader with deep knowledge of Singapore's financial regulatory landscape, a proven track record in business development, and the ability to drive revenue growth while ensuring full compliance with local laws.
Key Responsibilities
1. Licensing & Compliance
- Ensure RedotPay's operations comply with MAS (Monetary Authority of Singapore) regulations and other local financial laws.
- Lead the application and maintenance of necessary payment licenses and approvals.
- Develop and implement compliance frameworks, policies, and risk management strategies.
- Work closely with legal and regulatory teams to stay ahead of changing financial regulations.
2. Brand Building & Market Positioning
- Develop and execute a localized brand strategy to establish RedotPay as a trusted payment solution in Singapore.
- Build partnerships with key stakeholders, including financial institutions, government bodies, and industry associations.
- Represent RedotPay at industry events, conferences, and media engagements to enhance brand visibility.
3. Payment Channel & Business Development
- Identify and develop strategic payment partnerships (banks, fintechs, merchants, and PSPs) to expand RedotPay's ecosystem.
- Drive the adoption of RedotPay's solutions among businesses and consumers.
- Negotiate and secure commercial agreements with key partners to enhance market penetration.
4. Market Growth & Revenue Leadership
- Develop and execute a market entry & growth strategy tailored to Singapore's fintech landscape.
- Set and achieve revenue targets, customer acquisition goals, and market share objectives.
- Analyze market trends, competition, and customer needs to refine business strategies.
Qualifications & Experience
- 8+ years of experience in fintech, payments, or financial services, with at least 3 years in a leadership role (Country Manager, Head of Business, or similar).
- Deep expertise in Singapore's financial regulations, particularly MAS licensing & compliance for payment services.
- Proven track record in business development, partnerships, and revenue growth in the payments/fintech sector.
- Strong network within Singapore's banking, fintech, and merchant ecosystem.
- Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field; MBA is a plus
