Provide casework support and holistic assessments for patients with skin conditions. Collaborate with healthcare teams to refer patients for assistance, lead support groups and outreach efforts, deliver psychoeducation, and support departmental initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Manage casework and provide support through comprehensive biopsychosocial-spiritual assessments and interventions for patients.

  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to assess and refer patients to appropriate programmes, including those offering financial assistance.

  • Contribute to the planning, facilitation, and evaluation of patient support groups and community outreach initiatives.

  • Deliver psychoeducational sessions to patients, caregivers, healthcare staff, and the public through workshops and seminars.

  • Support and participate in departmental and organisational projects and initiatives.

Requirements

  • Degree in Social Work/ Post Graduate Diploma in Social Work with min. 2 years of social work experience.

  • Excellent written and inter-personal communication skills.

  • Effective clinical skills in assessment, intervention, casework and counselling.
