Operating 10 centers across the island, PPIS provides Family Services, Student Care, and a Residential Facility. These services offer holistic support and developmental programs aimed at aiding women and their families through various life stages.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role as a Social Worker located in Bukit Batok. The Social Worker will be responsible for assessing client needs, developing and implementing intervention plans, and providing counseling and support services. Duties also include conducting home visits, collaborating with other community services, and maintaining accurate client records.

Responsibilities

  • Provide timely response and relevant intervention to clients
  • Tap on external schemes, services, programmes that can improve the well-being of clients
  • Plan, organise, execute and evaluate community work interventions
  • Other duties assigned by the Centre Manager

Requirements

  • Degree or Post-Graduate Diploma in Social Work, preferably an accredited Social Worker
  • Minimum 3-5 years relevant work experience in Social Work setting
  • Bilingual in Mandarin/Dialects and English, to liaise with clients
