Position Overview

We are hiring a lead analyst for our DNA management (Data Ops) department that helps all teams in Data analytics and Ai with compliance, governance, self-assessments, audits,policy, process and automation areas of work.

Role & Responsibilities

  1. Strategic Data Management and Governance

  2. Engage with stakeholders to define and refine problem statements based on business needs

  3. Translate business requirements into data/analytics solutions
  4. Track and monitor KPIs of data strategies and related programmes
  5. Lead data governance implementation and maintenance
  6. Establish data classification and handling procedures

  7. Policy and Compliance Management

  8. Transform policy requirements into actionable processes

  9. Validate and maintain SOPs aligned with compliance objectives
  10. Conduct systematic policy reviews and updates
  11. Drive compliance training initiatives for teams
  12. Establish security baseline standards for systems and applications
  13. Implement security best practices for data storage and transmission

  14. Security and Operations

  15. Implement and monitor security controls across cloud platforms

  16. Define and enforce data access control policies
  17. Support data operations team in reviewing safeguard processes
  18. Manage projects that enhance data usability and protection
  19. Monitor and improve operational processes

  20. Audit and Compliance

  21. Provide audit support and address RFI enquiries

  22. Support self-assessments of systems against policies
  23. Coordinate third-party security assessments
  24. Assist with operational and technical compliance checklists
  25. Perform regular compliance gap analysis
  26. Lead remediation efforts for identified gaps
  27. Establish compliance monitoring and reporting frameworks
  28. Report timely on achievements, issues, and progress
Requirements
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in IT security and compliance
  • Bachelor's Degree in Data Science/Informatics/Computer Science/IT/Engineering or relevant fields
  • Proven expertise in policy implementation and compliance frameworks, with preference for Healthcare and Government project experience
  • Experience in healthcare systems security, data protection, and privacy regulations is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of data governance, security controls, and data-driven technologies
  • Professional certifications in IT security or compliance would be good to have
  • Knowledge AWS/Azure Cloud environments and cloud security architecture is advantageous
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with ability to translate complex technical subjects for various stakeholders
  • Experience in managing large-scale data-driven initiatives and analytics solutions
  • Self-motivated and Demonstrated ability to work independently
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills to manage concurrent workstreams
  • Embrace growth mindset - Think strategically and innovatively, view challenges as opportunities, and demonstrate strong ownership for result
