Our client is seeking a Technical Executive to join their team
What you'll be doing?
  • Team Leadership: Supervise, plan, and organize a team of on-site contractors to carry out planned and ad-hoc maintenance works efficiently.
  • Problem-Solving: Investigate, analyze, and address reported breakdowns & faults to prevent future occurrences and ensure smooth operations.
  • Project Management: Oversee upgrading projects as required, applying your technical knowledge to drive successful outcomes.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct regular inspections of facilities and systems to maintain functionality and reliability.
  • Contractor Management: Ensure contractors adhere to contract requirements, evaluate their performance, and review specifications.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Establish good working relationships with stakeholders through effective English communication, both verbal and written.
  • Follow-up and Resolution: Liaise with term contractors to ensure timely rectification of defects after servicing work.
Who are they looking for?
  • Educational Background: Minimum Diploma in building maintenance, facility management, mechanical, electrical, real estate management, civil, or structural engineering. A degree in these fields is preferred.
  • Relevant Experience: At least 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably with exposure to government projects.
  • Certification: Fire Safety Manager (FSM) certification is highly desirable, along with hands-on experience in this area.
  • Communication Skills: Strong English language proficiency, both spoken and written, to effectively interact with various stakeholders.
  • Technical Aptitude: Demonstrated ability to understand and manage complex building systems and maintenance processes.
  • Leadership Quality: Experience in supervising teams and managing contractors in a facilities management context.
