We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Payroll Specialist who can blend meticulous internal payroll management with client-facing advisory services. This hybrid role requires an individual who can not only ensure the accurate and timely processing of our internal payroll but also confidently travel to client offices alongside our consultants. The primary goal of the client advisory aspect is to provide expert advice, brief clients on specific payroll requirements, optimize their processes, and ensure regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities
  • Process Payroll: Accurately and timely process end-to-end for all employees using our in-house payroll software.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of all applicable local tax regulations, and ensure all payroll procedures are compliant.
  • Manage and reconcile payroll accounts and ensure the integrity of all payroll data and documentation.
  • Prepare and submit necessary payroll reports, including monthly, quarterly, and year-end payroll tax filings
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding paychecks and deductions

  • Attend briefings and meetings with our consulting team to various client sites to offer expert, in-person payroll advice

  • Review and analyze client payroll processes, systems, and controls to identify inefficiencies and areas of non-compliance.
  • Assist consultants in the implementation or optimization of client payroll systems and processes, ensuring a smooth transition and knowledge transfer

Requirements

  • Diploma/ Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 1- 3 years of hands-on experience managing payroll for an organization.
  • Deep, demonstrable knowledge of payroll laws, wage and hour regulations, and statutory compliance requirements.
  • Good presentation and communication skills (written and verbal) are essential. Must be comfortable with client fronting situations

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an acute attention to detail.
