Guest Reception & Seating
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage seating arrangements according to reservations and walk-ins.
- Maintain an accurate waitlist and manage guest flow during peak hours.
- Ensure VIPs, regulars, and special requests are handled with priority and discretion.
Guest Relations
- Build strong rapport with guests to enhance satisfaction and encourage repeat visits.
- Anticipate guest needs, resolve complaints professionally, and escalate complex issues to management when necessary.
- Record and update guest preferences in the system (e.g., seating, dietary restrictions, celebration notes).
- Engage with guests before, during, and after service to ensure an exceptional experience.
Reservations & Communication
- Manage reservations through phone, email, and reservation platforms.
- Coordinate with FOH and BOH teams to ensure smooth service flow based on bookings.
- Support marketing and events team with guest lists, special functions, and private dining arrangements.
Operational Support
- Assist the Outlet Manager with guest feedback collection and service reports.
- Monitor lounge/restaurant ambiance to ensure it meets brand standards (lighting, music, cleanliness).
- Collaborate with servers, bartenders, and floor staff to ensure smooth service transitions.
Requirements
- At least 1–2 years of experience in a host/guest relations role within hospitality, restaurants, or lounges.
- Strong communication skills with a warm, professional, and confident personality.
- Excellent grooming and interpersonal skills to represent the brand image.
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations with poise and professionalism.
- Familiarity with reservation systems (e.g., SevenRooms, Chope, OpenTable) is a plus.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
- Languages: Proficiency in English; knowledge of additional languages is advantageous.
