They boast an extensive distribution network that serves a wide range of healthcare institutions, including government and private hospitals, day surgery centers, specialist and primary care clinics, laboratories, and nursing homes.

The Job

  • Support the planning, coordination, and execution of healthcare IT initiatives, including the deployment of new digital platforms and emerging technologies.
  • Oversee daily IT operations, including contract lifecycle management, compliance monitoring, and process documentation to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Assist with system enhancements, manage change requests, and participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) for hospital applications to support continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with clients' IT teams and external vendors to resolve technical issues and maintain uninterrupted system performance.
  • Develop and maintain user documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and training materials to facilitate successful system adoption.
  • Ensure compliance with MDOTS standards and address IT risk assessment (RA) deviations as required.
  • Manage contract renewals and terminations, ensuring timely actions to avoid service disruption or legal risk.
  • Schedule and conduct preventive maintenance for software and applications by coordinating with customers and adhering to time-planned service appointments.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of system history by customer and department, both on-site and in internal documentation systems.
  • Prepare and submit job sheets, obtaining customer confirmation and approvals as necessary.
  • Ensure timely closure of job sheets to accelerate billing processes and reduce accounts receivable and inventory holding.
  • Operate in accordance with ISO standards and organizational procedures, always maintaining strict compliance.
  • Adhere to risk management processes and ensure on-site compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements.
  • Strive for first time-right execution to minimize errors and achieve zero-complaint service delivery.
  • Coordinate effectively with customers and end users to optimize time and resource utilization.
  • Maintain professional communication with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure positive relationships and effective collaboration.
  • Build strong partnerships with biomedical engineers and key account stakeholders to create value and enhance the organization's competitive edge.
  • Participate in all required training and retraining sessions, contributing to continuous improvement by providing constructive feedback to principals and manufacturers.
  • Collect field data and customer feedback, make informed recommendations to the Service Manager, and actively contribute to knowledge sharing and best practices across teams.

The Talent

  • Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in a hospital setting or engineering consultancy environment.
  • Strong foundation in engineering principles with solid knowledge of IT systems and applications.
  • Possess a valid driver's license and own transportation (preferably).
  • Demonstrates a positive attitude, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Customer-oriented with a focus on quality execution and service delivery.
  • Proficient in spoken and written English.
