Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver mechanical design proposals, cost estimates, and solutions for automatic and semi-automatic assembly, manufacturing, and testing systems.
  • Lead mechanical design and cost estimation for new project inquiries, including proposal development and vendor coordination.
  • Execute detailed mechanical design for assigned projects, ensuring compliance with scope, budget, and timeline.
  • Create and maintain accurate 3D/2D models, detailed drawings, and Bill of Materials (BOM), with timely revisions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (electrical, software, purchasing, and production) to deliver integrated design solutions.
  • Gather feedback and integrate design improvements, while supporting R&D initiatives, POC testing, and technology exploration.
  • Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and support to junior engineers and team members.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Automation Engineering with 5 years of experience in custom automation is preferred.
  • Proficient in 3D CAD software, especially SolidWorks and/or Creo is preferred.
  • Solid knowledge of automation mechanical systems, including electromechanical integration is a bonus.
