Manager, Talent Management (HRD)

(Public healthcare Cluster; central/S. West location)

Our client is one of three public healthcare clusters and an integrated general hospital in Singapore that offers holistic care from acute, sub-acute to rehabilitative settings and reduces the need for a patient to transfer to another healthcare institution. 

Overview

The incumbent will be responsible for the development and implementation of talent management and engagement programmes with the objective of identifying, developing and retaining the best employees. The key responsibilities shall include shaping the talent management approach and driving talent management initiatives in the areas of succession planning, talent identification, talent development and talent engagement.

Job Responsibilities

He/she will be responsible for the following:

•    Lead the end-to-end activities for in-service sponsorship programmes (MOH-ISS, NNT, HMDP) and other overseas programmes. This includes planning for roadshows and staff briefings, application and selection of candidates with the Selection Panel, as well as the administration of the programme and reporting.

•    Lead the annual talent review and succession planning

•    Partner with Centre of Excellence to implement engagement and development activities for identified high potentials and successors.

•    Provide consultative support to HODs and HRBPs on critical and complex talent and

organizational capability issues to build talent development capabilities and accountabilities.

•    Collaborate with both internal stakeholders (including Centre of Excellence) and external partners in the development and delivery of the leadership and talent development initiatives

Requirements

•    Minimum 8 years of HR experience, with at least 2 years of experience leading Talent Management function

•    Resourceful, adaptable and able to integrate volumes of relevant information to develop solutions and solve issues

•    Team player with good interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.

•    Ability to work well under pressure, meet deadlines and drive projects to completion

•    Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
