About The Role

This is a regional leadership role responsible for executing the Asia Pacific (APAC) customer service strategy for all product lines, with direct involvement in senior-level customer relationships, strategic planning, and executive reporting. The director acts as a key liaison between Pratt & Whitney Canada (P&WC) and its APAC customers, suppliers, and partners.

What You Will Do

  • Ownership and execution of Asia Pacific Strategy for Pratt and Whitney Canada Customer Service Programs across all Product lines through Senior level customer communication, planning and execution of Senior Management Meetings and by building relationship with key suppliers, operators and influencers.
  • Support existing Singapore Hub Program teams with issue escalation resolution.
  • Support and execute, as applicable, the world-wide aftermarket strategy, as defined by Program Leadership.
  • Monthly Regional view to Pratt and Whitney Canada leadership via Executive Governance on Asia Pacific KPI's and metrics.
  • Participate in routine reliability, operational and commercial leadership reviews to ensure local inputs are captured and needed flow-down is completed.
  • Work closely with SEA Hub Operational Leadership and Pratt and Whitney Canada frontline and sales organizations to consolidate needs of all to the Executive Governance.
  • Monitor service level performance within region and define resource, shop and capacity requirements to meet service level goals.
  • Work with Pratt and Whitney Canada communications for large show preparations and branding strategies specific to the local region.
  • Through relationships and regional knowledge, monitor fleet movement, customer sentiment and potential escalation requirements to best support the customer and Pratt and Whitney Canada interests.
  • Represent Pratt & Whitney Canada in discussions with local governments and key industry partners. to support strategic initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement in proactive customer communication and engagement strategies.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or business or related field.
  • 15 years of experience in sales, customer support or MRO related activities within the aviation and aerospace industry.
  • At least 5 years of customer account management or program management experience in the aerospace industry with direct reports.
  • Ability to influence, internally and externally, the direction and strategy of the region.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Natural leadership with historic successes in both operational and commercial environments.
  • Willingness and flexibility to travel frequently.
  • Solid understanding of commercial and contractual aspects of the aviation industry, specifically Pratt and Whitney Canada Power-by-the-hour Programs and the aircraft leasing environment.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Master's Degree / MBA.
  • Previous experience within Pratt and Whitney Canada Headquarters.
  • Multi-language fluency.
  • Previous airline or fleet operator experience.
