What the role is

Project title: Enhancing Efficiency in Daily Finance Operations
Support in streamlining and improving the efficiency of finance operations. The intern will be actively involved in end-to-end financial transaction processes—such as payments, receipts, and journal adjustments—while also identifying opportunities to optimize workflows. The experience provides a practical foundation in operational finance and exposure to the internal control framework of a government finance team.

What you will be working on

  • Assist in processing daily financial transactions, including payments, receipts, and journal entries
  • Support the verification of supporting documents and adherence to financial policies
  • Participate in identifying process gaps or inefficiencies in transaction workflows
  • Document key transaction workflows and recommend improvements for better efficiency

What we are looking for

  • Background in accounting or finance
  • IT Savvy with proficiency in Microsoft Office (e.g. Excel)
  • Possess good verbal and written communication skills
