Job Scope

  • Contribute to research projects related to psychology
  • Collect psychology research data from populations in the social service sector
  • Set up and maintain databases and dashboards in Excel
  • Liaise with collaborators and monitor data collection

  • Perform various research tasks, including:

  • Collating data from different sources

  • Conducting data analyses and literature reviews
  • Assisting with qualitative interviews or focus groups
  • Cleaning audio transcripts
  • Preparing research presentations and reports

Requirements

  • Degree in Psychology or a related field (e.g., Social Sciences, Public Health, Statistics)
  • Strong understanding of quantitative and qualitative research methodologies
  • Prior research experience in psychology (e.g., data collection, managing surveys, data cleaning, and analysis)
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and at least 1 statistical software (e.g., RStudio, SPSS)
  • Completion of an honours thesis in Social Sciences is a plus
