The Opportunity
  • Adecco is partnering with our client, a leading organisation in the public sector. We are looking for a Programme Officer to support the coordination and delivery of multi-agency public health-related initiatives.
  • This is a 12-month contract position, ideal for candidates with experience in programme coordination, research, or policy support within the public health or environmental sectors.
  • There will also be opportunities to provide event and administrative support in the role.

The Talent
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Min 2 years of relevant working experience in research, policy, or programme coordination
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong research and analytical capabilities
  • Able to work well across multiple teams and agencies
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Familiarity with public health, interagency collaboration, or cross-sectoral policy work is advantageous
Job Description

Programme Support and Coordination

  • Coordinate public health-related programmes across various domains
  • Support inter-agency working groups and ensure project alignment
  • Track progress and assist with documentation and reporting

Research and Documentation

  • Conduct desktop research and literature reviews on health-related topics
  • Draft reports, briefing papers, and communication materials
  • Support the development of evidence-based policy recommendations

Stakeholder Engagement and Events

  • Coordinate with domestic and international partners
  • Assist with planning and logistics for meetings, workshops, and forums
  • Support content development for public outreach and education activities

Administrative and Secretariat Support

  • Provide meeting coordination and administrative support
  • Maintain stakeholder contact lists and project documentation
  • Assist with preparing notes, presentations, and other secretariat tasks
