Patient Services Associate/ Pharmacy Technician

Job Responsibilities

  • Register patients, schedule appointments, dispense medications and consumables, and collect payments
  • Perform general administrative duties assigned by the Clinic Manager/Supervisor
  • Update medical billings and invoices accurately
  • Assist the doctor in performing basic clinical duties (e.g., taking temperature, height, weight, swabs, ECG)
  • Maintain cleanliness and general housekeeping of the clinic
  • Conduct monthly stock takes of medical drugs and consumables
  • Assist in managing and maintaining the pharmacy inventory
  • Support training of Clinic Assistants, particularly in medication counselling skills and organization of the dispensary
  • Willing to work morning, afternoon, or night shifts as rostered
  • 5.5 day week

Job Requirements

  • Certificate in Pharmacy Technician Course (under MOH, PSS or its equivalent) or a Diploma in Pharmaceutical Science or equivalent (good to have, not necessary)
  • Can communicate in Mandarin and English
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, email, online appointment systems)
  • Able to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and medication handling
  • Able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team setting
  • Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities
  • Familiarity with social media platforms is a plus
