About the role

Join us at MindSpace @ West Coast Plaza as a full-time MindSpace After School Care & Enrichment Teacher. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and enriching educational programs to primary school students. Offering a stimulating after-school environment, you will help students develop their academic and social skills through a range of activities.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Guidance to help students complete their daily homework, weekly spelling and 听写
  • Conduct MindChamps unique enrichment programmes
  • Implement the program for the class in accordance with the policies, guidelines, framework and philosophy of the centre
  • Responsible for the preparation and upkeep of teaching resources, arrangement, appearance and learning environment of the classroom
  • Monitor students' progress and provide regular feedback to parents
  • Maintain and build relationships with children and parents
  • Being an inspiring role model with a creative spirit and a champion (positive) mindset
  • Ensure safety and timely transfer of students from dedicated drop off point to after school centre
  • Ensure safety of children within the premises and maintain a safe and positive learning environment for all students
  • Collaborate with the wider team to continuously improve the after-school program
  • Any other ad-hoc duties as delegated by Centre Manager

Job Requirements:

  • Diploma or higher in any discipline or a related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience teaching primary school students, preferably in an after-school and enrichment setting
  • Strong knowledge of the primary school curriculum, particularly in English, Mathematic or Science
  • Teaching of primary school subjects is a MUST
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills to effectively engage with students
  • Creative and loving energy with a positive disposition
  • Enthusiastic & energetic and has a positive mindset to learn and grow together with the company
  • Patience, empathy and a genuine passion for helping children learn and grow
  • Childcare teacher who are able to teach primary school subjects are welcome to apply
