Your day at NTT DATA
The Senior Technical Analyst is an advanced subject matter expert, responsible for providing advanced technical analysis and technical expertise in the field of technology.

This role works closely with IT teams, stakeholders, and end-users to understand complex technology requirements, troubleshoot technical issues, evaluate system performance, and recommend complex solutions or improvements.

Key responsibilities:

• Provides third-level technical support on complex IT systems.
• Documents IT support processes, procedures, and troubleshooting steps, ensuring accurate and up-to-date knowledge base resources for the team and end-users.
• Assists in triaging and categorizing IT support tickets, prioritizing and escalating issues to appropriate team members or senior analysts based on severity and complexity.
• Collaborates effectively with cross-functional teams, including end-users, IT colleagues, and vendors, to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring timely communication and resolution.
• Stays updated with the latest technologies, industry trends, and best practices in IT support and troubleshooting, proactively seeking opportunities for professional development and expanding technical knowledge.
• Provides architectural input on systems and platform selections.
• Assesses and evaluates existing technology systems, infrastructure, and processes to identify areas for improvement.
• Analyses system performance, identify bottlenecks, and recommend enhancements or upgrades to optimize technology performance and efficiency.
• Collaborates with stakeholders to gather and analyze technology requirements and translate business needs into technical specifications and recommends appropriate solutions or technologies to meet those requirements.
• Assists in the integration and deployment of new technology solutions, including hardware, software, and network components.
• Collaborates with IT teams to ensure seamless integration, compatibility, and adherence to established standards and protocols.
• Performs any other related task as required.

• Advanced proficiency in maintaining automation systems and / or applications.
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills to identify, diagnose, and resolve complex technical issues.
• Applies advanced logical thinking and troubleshooting methodologies to isolate problems and implement effective solutions.
• Advanced knowledge and understanding of relevant technologies, systems, and tools.
• Ability to stay updated with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices to provide expert advice and recommendations.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear and understandable language.
• Collaborates and work effectively with cross-functional teams to address technical challenges and achieve project goals.
• Project management skills to contribute to technology projects, including planning, coordination, and tracking of tasks and deliverables.
• Demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning and professional development in the ever-evolving field of technology.
• Advanced technical skills, such as programming languages, database management, system architecture, and IT infrastructure knowledge.

Academic qualifications and certifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft, and Cisco are advantageous.

Required experience:

• Advanced experience in progressively responsible technical roles, demonstrating advanced technical expertise and leadership capabilities.
• Advanced experience working with complex systems end to end.
• Advanced experience documenting IT processes and procedures.
