Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager with background in Real Estate/Property to lead financial reporting, consolidation, and compliance across multiple entities and regions. The role is responsible for overseeing management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and project financing, while ensuring statutory and tax compliance. This position will also provide financial insights to support business decisions, manage audit processes, and review financial aspects of key agreements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee financial and management reporting functions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Manage group accounts consolidation and monthly management reporting across multiple entities (subsidiaries, joint ventures, and associates) across different regions.
  • Coordinate with fund managers, asset managers, and finance teams of subsidiaries, associates, and joint ventures to obtain monthly financials for group consolidation and preparation of management reports.
  • Consolidate budgets and forecasts in collaboration with relevant stakeholders, preparing detailed analysis and variance reports.
  • Provide financial insights and advice to support business decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Manage cash flow, investment, and financing requirements of the group.
  • Work closely with banks and financial institutions on project financing and related matters.
  • Handle internal and external audit processes, as well as statutory compliance requirements.
  • Review tax submissions prepared by tax agents for subsidiaries, associates, and joint ventures.
  • Review joint venture agreements, sale & purchase agreements, and other contractual documents from a financial perspective.
  • Oversee the preparation and finalization of annual audited accounts, including inactive subsidiaries.
  • Undertake ad-hoc financial, compliance, and business-related assignments as required.

Qualifications & Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or a professional qualification such as CPA, ACCA, or CA.
  • Have experience in Real Estate or Property.
  • Minimum of 10 years of professional experience, including at least 4 years specializing in group consolidation, particularly with intercompany transactions across subsidiaries and joint ventures.
  • Possesses solid technical expertise, able to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment, with strong communication, analytical, independence, and proactive problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with Cognos software will be considered an added advantage.
