Finance Manager – Clean Energy | $5–7K/month

Singapore | Full-Time | Renewable Energy

We're hiring a Finance Manager for a fast-growing clean energy startup company transforming how homeowners go solar. This is a rare opportunity to take ownership of the full finance function—from day-to-day ops to long-term planning—in a dynamic, purpose-driven startup.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Financial Operations & Control

  • Run daily finance activities: invoicing, payments, AP/AR, and cash flow
  • Strengthen internal controls and implement efficient systems as we scale
  • Ensure full compliance with local tax, audit, and regulatory requirements
  • Liaise with external accountants, auditors, and service providers

FP&A & Strategic Finance

  • Deliver monthly dashboards and financial performance reports
  • Monitor COGS, margins, and unit economics across products
  • Support forecasting, budgeting, and scenario planning
  • Track key metrics related to customer acquisition, project costs, and profitability

Cross-functional Business Partnering

  • Collaborate with sales and ops on revenue recognition and cost allocation
  • Provide pricing, budgeting, and vendor support with financial insights
  • Contribute to customer financing solutions and partnerships with banks
  • Act as a thought partner to management with actionable recommendations
REQUIREMENTS:
  • 5 years of experience in finance, FP&A, or accounting roles
  • Proven track record in building or scaling finance operations
  • Strong understanding of financial systems, compliance, and reporting
  • Commercial mindset with a data-to-strategy approach
  • Experience in project-based industries (solar, construction, services) is a plus
  • CPA or equivalent preferred; Xero experience is a bonus
  • Based in Singapore with strong knowledge of local requirements
  • Passion for clean energy and mission-driven businesses
