About the Role

We are seeking a hands-on and strategic finance professional to lead financial management, treasury, and corporate finance activities across a dynamic real estate investment platform. This role will oversee financial reporting, cash and capital management, budgeting, and business partnering to support investment and asset management decisions.

The ideal candidate has strong real estate or private equity real estate experience, solid technical accounting knowledge, and the ability to drive both financial governance and strategic execution.

Key Responsibilities Financial Management & Reporting

  • Oversee end-to-end finance operations across assigned entities, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting.
  • Manage consolidation, month-end closing, and statutory reporting in accordance with SFRS/IFRS.
  • Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and advisors to ensure full compliance with accounting, tax, and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide actionable financial insights to management to support business performance and decision-making.

Treasury Management

  • Partner with Group Treasury to oversee cash management, asset financing/refinancing, FX, and interest rate hedging strategies.
  • Manage banking operations for the assets under charge, ensuring sufficient liquidity and optimal cash deployment.
  • Monitor loan covenants and headroom; propose proactive financing or restructuring strategies.
  • Work closely with lenders on financing/refinancing events and support debt documentation.
  • Analyse and implement FX and interest rate hedging strategies to mitigate financial risk.

Corporate Finance

  • Collaborate with Investment and Asset Management teams on:

  • Financing for new acquisitions and refinancing for existing investments.

  • Structuring efficient capital frameworks for acquisitions and divestments.
  • Developing and executing funding strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Reviewing and refining tax and funding structures in response to regulatory changes.
  • Support due diligence, financial modeling, and investment committee materials where relevant.

Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

  • Prepare and review annual budgets and monthly forecasts for assigned entities and investments.
  • Analyse financial performance versus budget/forecast, highlighting key variances and business drivers.
  • Evaluate P&L and cash flow impacts of potential acquisitions or divestments and provide recommendations.
  • Partner with senior management to drive financial discipline, transparency, and operational efficiency.

Process Improvement & Leadership

  • Drive continuous improvement in financial processes, systems, and reporting standards.
  • Strengthen internal controls and governance frameworks across finance functions.
  • Mentor and develop junior team members to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and accountability in financial reporting.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline; CA / CPA / ACCA qualification preferred.
  • Minimum 10–12 years of relevant experience, including in real estate, private equity real estate, or investment holding environments.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards (SFRS/IFRS), consolidation, treasury, and corporate finance.
  • Hands-on experience in FP&A, cash flow management, and investment support.
  • Proficient with ERP systems (Oracle, Hyperion, Fusion) and Excel-based financial modeling.
  • Exposure to SGX-listed or multinational group reporting is advantageous.
