About the Role

We are seeking for a dynamic and experienced Workshop Manager to lead and manage our workshop operations for a fleet of trucks, including tipper trucks, prime movers and commercial vehicles. This role is critical in ensuring smooth maintenance and repair activities, optimizing resources and driving team performance.

Key Responsibilities

·       Oversee the entire workshop team and daily operations.

·       Plan, schedule and monitor maintenance and repair works to ensure timely completion.

·       Manage inventory of spare parts and ensure adequate stock levels.

·       Implement measures to reduce wastage and improve cost efficiency.

·       Ensure compliance with safety standards and maintenance protocols.

·       Develop and maintain competency within the workshop team through training and guidance.

·       Monitor performance metrics and continuously improve processes.

Requirements

·       Diploma/Degree in Automotive Engineering or related field.

·       Minimum 3 years of experience in managing a workshop for heavy vehicles.

·       Strong leadership and team management skills.

·       Excellent knowledge of truck maintenance, repair processes, and spare parts management.

·       Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize tasks effectively.

·       Strong communication, problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

·       Knowledge of Singapore Safety Regulation and LTA standards
