Workshop Production Planner

Job Description:

  • Perform all SAP-related functions in the workshop, including induction of items, work order creation and item movement coordination.
  • To manage and track both serviceable and unserviceable parts and keep them in orderly manner
  • Facilitate and manage the movement of items
  • Prepare and process credit manifests for materials.
  • Coordinate and oversee 3rd party item returns (ITD) using manual workflows.
  • Maintenance of Material Shortage List to meet workflow requirement via monitoring, updating and other required processes.
  • Play an active role in providing assistance to various workshop functions and requirements
  • Attend all necessary meetings with customers and various divisions; &
  • Carry out any other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-intensity environment
  • Team player with good interpersonal, problem solving and communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (in particular, having some experience working with Microsoft Excel and using simple formulas, filtering, sorting would be advantageous)
  • Related working experience in Base Maintenance / aircraft maintenance workshop environment would be advantageous
  • Ability to appropriately engage with customer (primarily via emails and phone calls)
  • Some SAP knowledge will be advantageous
