Overview

We are a growing company specialising in the production of canvas prints and custom picture frames. We are looking for a reliable additional member of our team to work in our workshop over at Toh Guan Road East. The ideal candidate would have some pre-existing experience in woodworking but we are willing to hire someone with no experience providing they have the right attitude.


Key Responsibilities
Carpentry & Fabrication
  • Perform general carpentry work including cutting, assembling, sanding, and finishing.
  • Fabricate wooden frames, structures, panels, crates, and custom pieces as required.
  • Operate standard carpentry tools and machinery safely (e.g., saws, nail guns, drills).
  • Assist with workshop tasks such as measuring materials, preparing workpieces, and maintaining equipment.
  • Follow drawings, measurements, and instructions to ensure accuracy and quality.
Driving & Delivery [beneficial, but not necessary]
  • Drive company van to deliver materials, tools, and completed items to customers or job sites.
  • Load and unload items safely, ensuring proper handling—especially for fragile or artwork-related items.
  • Assist with on-site installations, assemblies, and minor fixing works when required.
  • Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of the company vehicle.
General Duties
  • Support the team in workshop and on-site activities as needed.
  • Comply with all safety procedures and company standards.
  • Ensure punctuality, responsibility, and professionalism at all times.

Requirements
  • At least 1–2 years of carpentry experience (framing, furniture, renovation, or related).
  • Valid driving license (Singapore or Malaysia) with willingness to convert in Singapore if applicable.
  • Basic understanding of measurements, tools, and materials.
  • Good attitude, team player, and willingness to learn.
  • Willing to work overtime within reason [paid].

Preferred (but not required)
  • Experience in picture framing, artwork handling, or crate fabrication.
  • Familiar with workshop machinery.
