The SGH WSH team is looking for a new member who is motivated to implement, drive and support WSH programmes to create a safe environment to benefit staff, patients and visitors in the hospital.  The candidate will be part of a team of WSH Officers, possess strong interpersonal skills with pleasant disposition and the ability to work well and interact with people at all levels.  The candidate should be well-versed with various safety and quality certification programmes such as ISO and safety and health managements systems.  The candidate should be a resourceful worker possessing initiative to complete tasks and projects assigned.  The candidate should be very familiar with or preferably have WSH experience in healthcare or health-related fields.

  • Ability and passion to persevere in project to a satisfactory completion

Qualifications

  • Degree in Life Sciences / Engineering or equivalent is preferred
  • Workplace Safety and Health Officer Certificate; or
  • Registered Industrial Hygienist; or
  • Recognised professional qualification in a specialized field of WSH
  • At least 4 years working experience in WSH management in health, healthcare or science related field
