Job Description

  • Manage daily team activities, prioritizing specimens according to clinical urgency and handling problematic specimens.
  • Optimize team operations to meet performance indicators.
  • Supervise personnel performing testing and reporting results.
  • Ensure compliance with policies, work instructions, and guidelines, and address disciplinary measures as needed.
  • Report and investigate incidents, implementing corrective and preventive actions.
  • Manage laboratory equipment, ensuring preventive maintenance and troubleshooting technical issues.
  • Oversee calibration, quality control, and validation of laboratory analyzers and equipment, including point-of-care testing devices.
  • Provide training, competency assessments, and supervision for medical laboratory technologists and medical officers.

Requirement

  • Degree in Biomedical Science
  • Good interpersonal skills , strong organizational skills and case management experience
  • Able to work independently
  • Good laboratory and coordination skills
  • Ability to perform 3 rotating shifts.
