Sales Manager

The Sales Manager plays a pivotal role in driving sales performance, managing customer pools, converting opportunities into contracts, overseeing the end-to-end tendering process, and monitoring the sales team to ensure alignment with business goals. This leadership role involves strategic oversight, collaboration with HQ, and supporting the development and execution of regional sales and marketing initiatives. Strong leadership, sales acumen, and exceptional organizational skills are essential for this role.
Job Responsibilities
- Oversee and maintain a robust customer pool, ensuring consistent engagement and client satisfaction.
- Identify high-potential clients and develop strategies to deepen relationships and secure repeat business.
- Drive the sales process from lead identification to contract closure.
- Develop tailored proposals and presentations to effectively address client needs.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment on deal terms and successful execution.
- Manage the entire tendering process, from document preparation to final submission.
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure compliance with client requirements and deadlines.
- Lead post-tender negotiations and contract finalizations.
- Provide direction and support to the Sales Executives across SEA countries.
- Monitor individual and team performance against KPIs, offering feedback and coaching as needed.
- Align regional sales activities with the company's global objectives in collaboration with HQ's Commercial and Project Management teams.
- Provide market insights, client feedback, and sales performance reports to HQ.
- Partner with marketing teams to develop and implement effective campaigns and initiatives.
- Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.
- Identify new business opportunities and propose strategies to capture them.
- Maintain detailed records of sales activities, client interactions, and tender progress in the Sales Management System.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, IT or a related field
- At least 5 years of experience in sales within data centre, cloud or IT infrastructure sector.
