Get to Know the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Assurance Engineer to ensure that all outgoing products consistently meet internal quality standards and customer requirements. This role is vital in upholding product quality at the point of shipment and maintaining compliance with quality regulations. You will be responsible for enhancing quality systems, identifying improvement opportunities, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure operational excellence and customer satisfaction.

Essential Responsibilities

• Oversee finished goods to verify compliance with customer specification and requirement prior to shipment.
• Review and validate outgoing quality documentation, including inspection reports, certificates of conformance, and relevant data.
• Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to ensure only compliant products are approved for shipment.
• Monitor outgoing quality performance metrics, analyse trends and drive process improvements to support continuous quality enhancement.
• Assist to / Investigate product non-conformities, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions as needed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and enhance operational efficiency.
• Respond promptly and accurately to customer and internal inquiries related to quality concerns by providing clear and relevant information.
• Assist to ensure adherence to ISO 9001 and other relevant quality standards.
• Support the implementation and tacking of corrective and preventive actions.
• Participate in internal audit activities to confirm adherence to the company's quality management system.

Other Responsibilities

• Review and refine outgoing procedures and workflows to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Perform other tasks and responsibilities as assigned by department head.

Skills and Competencies Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or a related field. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Exposure to ISO 9001 quality standards and with quality tools such as root cause analysis, CAPA, FMEA, and control charts will be an advantage.
• Knowledge of Statistical related tools.
• Strong attention to detail, with excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication skills and a collaborative approach to working across departments.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Good knowledge of Advance Excel, Excel VBA, macros and Python will be an advantage.
