About the role

As an Engineer, Quality & Safety (CA/AL) at ST Engineering Aerospace Engines Pte Ltd, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety in our aircraft engine operations. This full-time position is based in the Airport Road East Region and is responsible for driving continuous improvement and compliance within our quality assurance and control processes.

What you'll be doing

  • Develop, implement and monitor quality control and assurance procedures to meet regulatory requirements and customer specifications
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and resolve quality issues
  • Analyse quality data and generate reports to track performance and drive process improvements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement corrective and preventive actions
  • Provide technical guidance and training to production staff on quality standards and best practices
  • Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and quality management principles
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of quality management systems and documentation

What we're looking for

  • Degree in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering, Quality Management or a related field
  • 2 years of experience in a quality assurance or control role, preferably in the manufacturing or aerospace industry
  • Strong understanding of quality management principles, tools and techniques
  • Proficient in data analysis and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high quality standards
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams
  • Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and quality standards (e.g. ISO 9001, AS9100)
