Job Title: Quality Assurance (QA) Inspector
Position Overview:
The Quality Assurance (QA) Inspector reports under the Supervisor in the NV-Warehouse ESD operations of the Quality Assurance Department (QAD). Having a keen eye for details, good quality mindset and strong commitment to maintaining a good quality compliance. The Quality Assurance (QA) Inspector will be responsible for ensuring that customer's products meet the highest standards of quality and compliance by doing QA checks/inspection, audit and other quality related task set forth by the company or customers.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct inspections of incoming materials, in-process products, shipping documents and labels and finished goods to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
- Review and interpret process flow charts, specifications, and work instructions.
- Perform tests and measurements using various tools and equipment to verify product quality.
- Document and report inspection results, highlighting any defects or non-conformities.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to address and resolve quality issues.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of inspections, tests, and other quality control activities.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and efficiency.
- Ensure support and compliance with all relevant security, safety and quality regulations and standards.
- Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures and policies.
- Executes quality related tasks and/or quality supporting tasks per Quality Engineer/Quality Assurance Assistant Manager/Quality and Compliance Head direction.
Requirements:
- Diploma or equivalent; additional technical education or certification is a plus.
- Proven experience as QA Inspector or similar role in a manufacturing, logistics or warehouse environment.
- Strong understanding of quality control standards and testing techniques.
- Proficiency in using inspection tools and equipment (e.g. callipers, micrometres, gauges).
- Ability to read and interpret process flow chart and specifications.
- Excellent attention to detail / quality mindset.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Familiarity with ISO standards and other relevant quality management systems is a plus.
