Job Title: Quality Assurance (QA) Inspector

Position Overview:

The Quality Assurance (QA) Inspector reports under the Supervisor in the NV-Warehouse ESD operations of the Quality Assurance Department (QAD). Having a keen eye for details, good quality mindset and strong commitment to maintaining a good quality compliance. The Quality Assurance (QA) Inspector will be responsible for ensuring that customer's products meet the highest standards of quality and compliance by doing QA checks/inspection, audit and other quality related task set forth by the company or customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct inspections of incoming materials, in-process products, shipping documents and labels and finished goods to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
  • Review and interpret process flow charts, specifications, and work instructions.
  • Perform tests and measurements using various tools and equipment to verify product quality.
  • Document and report inspection results, highlighting any defects or non-conformities.
  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to address and resolve quality issues.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of inspections, tests, and other quality control activities.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and efficiency.
  • Ensure support and compliance with all relevant security, safety and quality regulations and standards.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures and policies.
  • Executes quality related tasks and/or quality supporting tasks per Quality Engineer/Quality Assurance Assistant Manager/Quality and Compliance Head direction.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or equivalent; additional technical education or certification is a plus.
  • Proven experience as QA Inspector or similar role in a manufacturing, logistics or warehouse environment.
  • Strong understanding of quality control standards and testing techniques.
  • Proficiency in using inspection tools and equipment (e.g. callipers, micrometres, gauges).
  • Ability to read and interpret process flow chart and specifications.
  • Excellent attention to detail / quality mindset.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with ISO standards and other relevant quality management systems is a plus.
