Central Region, Singapore Robert Walters (S) Pte Ltd Full time $90,000 - $120,000 per year

This is an exceptional opportunity for you to play a pivotal role in the rapidly evolving world of institutional digital assets, working within a highly collaborative and knowledgeable team that values your expertise and commitment.

As part of a company built by institutions for institutions, you will be at the forefront of secure and scalable digital asset services, supporting clients across multiple jurisdictions. The organisation offers flexible working opportunities, exposure to cutting-edge technology, and the chance to contribute to the growth of a business backed by industry leaders. If you are passionate about fintech, thrive in a supportive environment, and are eager to make a tangible impact on the future of finance, this role is designed for you.

  • Join a globally recognised digital asset service provider with offices in key financial hubs including South East Asia, Europe and the Middle East, offering you international exposure and professional growth.
  • Be part of a supportive team that encourages knowledge sharing, ongoing training opportunities, and collaboration across departments to deliver first-class client service.
  • Enjoy flexible working arrangements and the chance to work on innovative projects that shape the future of institutional digital asset adoption.

What you'll do:

As a Digital Assets Operations Manager based in Singapore, you will take responsibility for overseeing the Transactions Operations team while ensuring seamless delivery of digital asset services. Your day-to-day activities will involve supervising staff performance, providing guidance on complex transactions across various blockchains, and ensuring adherence to both internal standards and external regulations. You will be instrumental in managing client onboarding processes, monitoring daily controls, producing management information reports, and resolving operational exceptions promptly. Your ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders will be crucial as you coordinate with other teams globally. Additionally, you will play an active role in reviewing existing processes for potential improvements-proposing new controls or system enhancements where necessary-and supporting the implementation of new products or regulatory changes. By fostering a culture of continuous learning within your team and staying attuned to industry developments, you will help maintain high standards of service delivery while contributing directly to the organisation's strategic objectives.

  • Supervise the Singapore-based Transactions Operations team, ensuring comprehensive coverage and continuous training so that all service level agreements are consistently met.
  • Provide expert support for transaction and staking operations across multiple blockchain protocols, acting as a subject matter expert when required by colleagues or clients.
  • Ensure full compliance with local regulatory obligations such as the Travel Rule, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation and best practices.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of new coins and staking products to ensure they meet client requirements while adhering to internal governance standards.
  • Manage queries and resolve issues efficiently by escalating matters to Operations Management, Compliance, or IT as appropriate to guarantee timely solutions.
  • Process and monitor all client requests with meticulous attention to exception handling so that outstanding items are resolved daily and escalated when necessary.
  • Maintain deep product and process knowledge to provide effective support for all operational activities within the team.
  • Stay informed about changes in the digital asset landscape, including new regulations and emerging products, proactively adapting processes as needed.
  • Support documentation efforts by creating and updating policies and procedures relevant to operational workflows.
  • Review current processes regularly to identify control weaknesses or inefficiencies, recommending remediation steps and proposing systematic enhancements.

What you bring:

To excel as a Digital Assets Operations Manager in this organisation, your background should reflect hands-on experience within financial services operations-ideally covering areas like transaction processing or custody support. Your academic credentials will demonstrate analytical rigour while your commercial awareness ensures you understand broader market dynamics impacting clients. You bring strong interpersonal skills that enable you to collaborate effectively with colleagues across different locations while also engaging constructively with clients. Your technical proficiency allows you to analyse data efficiently using tools like Excel; meanwhile your attention to detail ensures compliance with regulatory requirements at all times. You have shown an aptitude for identifying process improvements-whether through formal project work or informal suggestions-and can see these through from conception to implementation. Above all else, your enthusiasm for fintech drives your commitment to delivering outstanding results within a supportive team environment.

  • A degree in a statistical or analytical discipline such as sciences, engineering, business or economics with demonstrable expertise in statistical analysis, risk assessment, or workflow design.
  • Genuine interest in fintech or digital assets demonstrated through previous experience or personal development initiatives.
  • Commercial awareness with an understanding of economic trends affecting financial services businesses.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills enabling you to convey complex information concisely and persuasively to diverse audiences.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills-particularly Excel-are desirable for data analysis and reporting tasks.
  • At least two years' experience within financial services operations such as banking, trust or fund services, transaction processing, custody support, clearing/settlements, client onboarding or middle office functions.
  • Proven ability to manage teams effectively by providing training support and ensuring consistent achievement of operational targets.
  • Experience handling regulatory compliance matters within financial services environments is highly valued.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities combined with sensitivity towards client needs and organisational priorities.
  • Capacity for process review and improvement through identification of control weaknesses or inefficiencies.
