Billing & Settlement Officer (12-month Contract, Extendable/Convertible)

Location: Somerset (Walking distance from MRT)

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM

Salary: Up to $3,500/month

About the Role:

We're looking for a detail-focused Billing & Settlement Officer to manage billing and credit control processes, ensuring accuracy and timely settlements. You'll collaborate with various teams to keep operations running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and issue customer invoices, mainly for electricity utilities
  • Troubleshoot and resolve billing and credit control issues
  • Review and finalize daily and monthly settlements
  • Ensure all billing and settlement activities are accurate and timely
  • Coordinate with internal departments to verify customer data
  • Coach Junior Officers and liaise with external vendors (Senior roles)
  • Support process and system improvements (Senior roles)
  • Generate financial and billing reports as needed

What We're Looking For:

  • Diploma or Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, IT, or related fields
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, with 2 years in a supervisory role for Senior positions
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Meticulous and detail-oriented
  • Able to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills, team player
