Our sister company, Cheval Group Pte Ltd, is looking to hire a hard-working and efficient Cook (Commis Level) to join our team at Kranji

Responsibilities:

  • Assist our chefs with preparing ingredients (washing, chopping, etc.)
  • Follows recipes and cooking procedures precisely
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation, ensuring a smooth workflow
  • Handles all working material and equipment correctly and keeps it well cleaned
  • Strictly adhere to food safety and hygiene protocols
  • Replenish supplies and keep the kitchen running efficiently
  • Any other duties assigned by Head Chef

What we're looking for:

  • Eagerness to learn and a passion for food
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness
  • Positive attitude and willingness to be a team player
  • Able to work 6 days per week, including weekends and public holidays
  • MUST be willing to work in a NON-HALAL kitchen

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Work Environment: Primarily within our establishment, with occasional travel to sister outlet to render assistance.

Required Academic Qualifications & Experiences

Certificate in Culinary Arts (or similar qualification) preferred, but not mandatory

Prior experience in a fast-paced restaurant or bar kitchen would be an advantage
