Swim Coach

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Swim Coach to join our dedicated team at Change Lifestyle LLP's facilities in the East Region. In this contract role, you will play a pivotal part in helping our clients reach their swimming goals through tailored, expert coaching. With a focus on both individual and group sessions, you will deliver exceptional training to swimmers of all abilities, from beginners to competitive athletes.

What you'll be doing

1. Delivering high-quality, personalised swim lessons and training programmes to clients of all ages and skill levels
2. Designing and leading group swim sessions that challenge and motivate participants
3. Observing and analysing swimmers' techniques to provide constructive feedback and develop individualised improvement plans
4. Ensuring a safe and inclusive environment for all swimmers by upholding pool safety protocols
5. Collaborating with the wider coaching team to share best practices and continually enhance the swimming programme
6. Maintaining detailed records of swimmer progress and providing regular performance updates

What we're looking for

1. Extensive experience as a qualified swimming instructor or coach, with a proven track record of success OR new coaches who are willing to learn
2. An in-depth understanding of swimming techniques, training methodologies, and sport-specific fitness development
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire swimmers of all ages and abilities
4. Strong organisational and time management skills, with the flexibility to adapt to changing priorities
5. A passion for swimming and a commitment to helping others reach their full potential
6. Relevant coaching qualifications and certifications from recognised certifying organisations
