Job Description

Role Description

We're hiring part-time teachers to lead safe, fun, and skill-focused lessons that inspire students.

  • Flexible scheduling around your availability, with a strong emphasis on reliability (we value commitment to your students).
  • No experience? No problem On-the-job training will be provided
  • Earning potential: Start at $25 to $40/hour, with raises based on a clear progression system and performance reviews.

We're Looking For:

  • Enthusiasm for working with children and fostering water safety skills
  • Committed to scheduled lessons with excellent time management (Commitment of at least 9 months)
  • Encouraging, patient, and adaptable to different learning styles
  • While we welcome all applicants, we are giving preference to female coaches due to the nature of the role and working with young children
  • Non-certified and certified coaches who are holding (Swim Australia, AUSTSWIM, NROC)

Applicants who show promise during their on-the-job training will be shortlisted to join our coaching team.

For non-certified coaches who have been shortlisted by our school, you will be encouraged to pursue an international coaching license. We offer Swim Australia courses that will provide you with international swim coaching certification.
