Main Purpose of Job

The individual in this position will be a team member of one of the Brand Marketing Teams at Nestle Purina PetCare AOA. As a Brand Manager, this role will be responsible for supporting the Marketing Strategy and Long Term Vision for the Brand on a central level and guide key markets to maximize local opportunities. Brand Managers must be able to engage and inspire others both cross functionally and in the local markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop Brand Strategy: Contributes to development and execution of strong, functionally aligned brand and ICP plan. Analyze business and consumer trends, identify key issues facing your business and build and execute innovative brand plans. Demonstrate consumer insight/strategic brand building capability and posess effective project management skills.
  • Deliver Growth Through Innovation And Renovation : Identify new, consumer insight driven, innovative ideas to drive brand growth. Identify new, consumer insight driven, innovative ideas to drive brand growth. Develop new product ideas, renovation to current products and strategies.
  • Market Cluster Management : Work in close collaboration with markets to identify gaps and opportunities and to develop robust activity plans in line with the brand essence and accelerate growth. A Brand Manager needs to be able to find synergies by supporting markets in striving for brand growth and opportunities but also challenge if the need of the markets are compromising overall business objectives.
  • Team Leadership: Lead cross-functional internal (and external, including agency) teams in the development and execution of brand strategies. Identify critical research objectives to ensure consumer validation of ideas and programs.
  • Brand performance & Project Management: independently manage projects, tracks and analyze the performance, health and strategic alignment. Understands business impact of PFME and TTS investment of her/his brand.management including phasing of PFME budget. Strong focus and understanding of Brand P&L.
  • Transversal projects: Lead any transversal or cross-brand projects beyond the scope of the brand team. Working together with other (brand) teams and functions focussing on overall business goals and objectives and develop strategies and plans to meet them.
  • Support Nestle Nutrition, Health & Wellness (NHW) and Creating Shared Value (CSV) : Manage Good Taste basket, packaging, NHW dashboard, services and CSV where applicable related to her/his brand
