Looking for a Project Manager/Officer with expertise in procurement strategy, contract management, and process optimization. Skilled at supporting operational needs, ensuring compliance, and driving improvements in procurement activities within a dynamic environment. The tasks will be:

The Role

  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop effective procurement strategies that support operational objectives.
  • Prepare and manage quotation and tender documents, overseeing the end-to-end procurement process using electronic systems.
  • Track and monitor procurement activities to ensure timely contract execution and implementation.
  • Provide professional advice and support in sourcing, contract management, and spend analysis.
  • Document lessons learned, including best practices and areas for improvement, for future case studies.
  • Participate in ad-hoc projects and initiatives as assigned.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and relevant regulations throughout procurement activities.
  • Facilitate communication between stakeholders to resolve procurement-related issues.
  • Contribute to process improvements for greater efficiency and effectiveness in procurement operations.

What We Are Looking For

  • Tertiary qualification required; diploma holders with substantial relevant experience will be considered.
  • Prior experience in procurement or public sector procurement processes is preferred.
  • Familiarity with preparing and managing Invitations to Quote.
  • Strong interest in developing procurement expertise and enhancing professional competency.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage workload effectively.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and leadership skills.
  • Proactive, reliable, and able to deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in IT tools such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and procurement platforms (e.g., GeBIZ, SAP) is an advantage.
