About the role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Senior Service Attendant to join our team at Ushidoki Wagyu Kaiseki in the heart of Downtown Tanjong Pagar. As a full-time position, you are required to delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our renowned Japanese restaurant.

What you'll be doing

  1. Greet and welcome guests with warm hospitality, guiding them to their tables and ensuring their dining experience exceeds expectations
  2. Provide attentive table service, serving dishes, and ensuring guests' needs are promptly addressed
  3. Maintain a thorough knowledge of the menu, ingredients, and preparation methods to provide informed recommendations to customers
  4. Assist in the set-up and breakdown of the dining area, ensuring it is clean, well-stocked, and presented to the highest standards
  5. Work and communicate closely with the kitchen team to ensure seamless service and timely delivery of dishes
  6. Assist restaurant manager in daily operations, any other ad hoc task if required

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar senior service or supervisory role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a high-end restaurant setting
  2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with customers in a professional and personable manner
  3. Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
  4. Thorough knowledge of food and beverage offerings, as well as an understanding of Japanese cuisine and culture
  5. A positive, collaborative attitude and a genuine passion for providing exceptional customer service
