About the role

Century Education Group, a provider of quality educational services, is seeking passionate English/Humanities Tutors to join our team on a part-time/freelance basis. The majority of our students are studying in the international schools here.

Tutoring rates vary from $40 to $110 per hour (depending on the grade of the student and the qualifications of the tutor).

What you'll be doing

  • Develop and deliver engaging, personalised 1 to 1 lesson plans to support students' academic growth in English and Humanities subjects
  • Identify students' individual learning needs and adapt teaching approaches accordingly
  • Provide constructive feedback after each class and guidance to help students reach their full potential
  • Collaborate with the wider education team to share best practices and continuously improve the quality of our tutorials
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance

What we're looking for

  • Degree in English, Humanities or a related subject
  • Minimum 1 year of tutoring or teaching experience, preferably with students of various ages and abilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students
  • Passion for education and a genuine desire to help students succeed
  • Flexibility to work part-time hours
  • Punctuality and professionalism
  • Familiarity with the IGCSE or IB curriculum/framework is an advantage
