Our client is seeking an Accounts Executive / Officer to join their team

What you'll be doing?
  • Process financial transactions: Handle Accounts Payable and Receivable, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all entries using Microsoft Dynamics 365.
  • Reconcile accounts: Keep financial records up-to-date by reconciling bank statements, AP/AR accounts, and intercompany transactions.
  • Manage the general ledger: Maintain accurate ledger accounts, prepare journal entries, and support month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Ensure compliance: Stay on top of Singapore tax laws and GST regulations, preparing documentation for audits and assisting with IRAS filings.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting: Contribute to financial planning by assisting with budget preparation, tracking performance, and providing variance analysis.
  • Drive process improvements: Identify and implement ways to enhance finance processes and workflows, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Communicate effectively: Liaise with internal departments, vendors, and external parties to resolve finance-related issues and participate in regional projects.
  • Handle administrative tasks: Coordinate expense claims, maintain documentation, support office procurement, and assist with HR-related admin tasks.
Who are they looking for?
  • Educational background: Candidates with a Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field are encouraged to apply.
  • Relevant experience: At least 3-4 years of experience in full set accounting
  • Technical knowledge: A strong understanding of Singapore accounting standards (SFRS) and GST regulations is beneficial.
  • Communication abilities: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for collaborating with various stakeholders.
