**Business Development Team Head**:
Join IFS Capital Singapore as our Business Development Team Head, where you will lead and empower a team of Relationship Managers while reporting to our Head of Business Development. **RESPONSIBILITIES**:
**Business Development Strategy**:
- Collaborate with Head of Business Development to develop and execute the team's strategy, aligning it with the company's strategic objectives
- Regularly report to the Head of Business Development on team performance, challenges, and opportunities.
**Client Acquisition and Client Relationship Management**:
- Drive client acquisition and improve existing portfolio p&l by selling the product suite and exploring new opportunities with existing clients
- Cultivate and maintain client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor to clients and prospects
- Uphold a high level of service quality, fostering client satisfaction and trust
- Work closely with Relationship Managers to understand client needs and deliver customized solutions
**Market and Industry Insights**:
- Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities, using this knowledge to make informed strategic decisions and develop competitive advantages.
**Team Leadership and Management**:
- Provide strong and effective leadership to a team of Relationship Managers, offering guidance, mentorship and support to achieve team and individual goals
- Establish performance expectations, monitor progress and conduct regular performance evaluations
- Promote a culture of continuous learning and skill enhancement among Relationship Managers
- Establish a vibrant sales culture grounded in transparent and open communication
- Ensure seamless communication and coordination between Relationship Managers and other departments to facilitate cross-functional collaboration
**REQUIREMENTS**:
- Degree in Finance, Business, Accountancy, Economics or a relevant discipline
- Possess at least 6 years of experience in commercial banking or SME banking experience and client relationship management with a proven track record
- Demonstrated strong credit risk assessment skills, business and financial analytical skills, sound products and SME industry knowledge
- Strong business acumen with a well-established network of business contacts to bring in new business immediately
- Possess excellent written and spoken communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
- Positive go-getter attitude, team player and results-oriented
- Demonstrated leadership for at least 2 years in managing sales teams in origination and execution
- Demonstrated ability to inspire and lead a team towards achieving exceptional results
