Job Responsibilities

  • Perform validation of all new interest rate derivatives/commodity/options trades against source documents in Murex or Front Arena systems
  • Authorise payments and receipts for above mentioned treasury products
  • Perform fixing procedures in Murex and Front Arena systems
  • Liaising of settlement or fixing with respective counterparties and local ops
  • Monitor and handle end-to-end payment process, including exception handling of unmatched/alleged trades and the necessary follow ups and escalation
  • Ensures all reconciliation breaks or exceptions are investigated and resolved within stipulated turnaround time
  • Ensure all inquiries (email or SWIFT) related to pre and post trade are effectively managed

Job Qualifications

  • Diploma or degree holder or equivalent
  • At least 1 year trade experience in a banking environment
  • Enthusiastic, attentive to detail, flexible and have the drive to be successful while working in a dynamic and challenging environment
  • Control focused with good understanding of operational risk impact
  • Able to communicate effectively across all levels and team in different location
  • Able to prioritize, multi-task and work under time pressure
  • Able to learn quickly and take responsibility for own learning and development
