**Job Title: Business Analyst - Oil and Gas Commodity Trading**

**Responsibilities**:
**Commodity Trading Analysis**:

- Conduct thorough analysis of market trends, pricing data, and trading strategies within the Oil and Gas sector.
- Monitor and evaluate commodity market movements, geopolitical events, and regulatory changes to provide timely insights to the trading team.

**Process Optimization**:

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify inefficiencies in current business processes related to commodity trading.
- Recommend and implement process improvements to streamline trading operations and enhance overall efficiency.

**Data Management**:

- Gather, organize, and analyze large sets of data related to commodity trading activities.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive databases to support trading decisions and reporting requirements.

**Risk Management**:

- Work closely with risk management teams to assess and mitigate risks associated with commodity trading activities.
- Develop and implement risk assessment models to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies.

**Technology Integration**:

- Collaborate with IT teams to integrate and optimize trading systems, ensuring seamless communication and data flow between different platforms.
- Stay abreast of technological advancements in commodity trading and recommend relevant tools or systems to enhance operational capabilities.

**Reporting and Documentation**:

- Generate regular reports on trading performance, market trends, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of business processes, workflows, and analysis methodologies.

**Stakeholder Communication**:

- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, including traders, risk managers, and senior leadership, to convey insights and recommendations.
- Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams to ensure alignment of business goals and IT solutions.

**Requirements**:
**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst in the Oil and Gas industry with a focus on commodity trading.
- In-depth knowledge of commodity markets, trading strategies, and risk management practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with relevant software and tools used in commodity trading and data analysis.
- Understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance standards in the commodity trading industry.
