General Summary of Responsibilities
Responsible for all aspects of day-to-day travel operations
Handle FIT and Group bookings from end-to-end : enquiry to quotation, to booking, to follow up arrangement, to travel coordination up till the guest departure
Ensure that tour operations run smoothly, according to established itineraries
Specific Job Requirements
Provide travel service and support to travel agents, clients, guests (collectively known as Asler Travel's "customers")
Respond to customers' email, whatsapp and phone enquiries with hotel/tour suggestions and quotations
Mandarin & English (written and spoken) language skills to communicate with customers and suppliers
Source and negotiate with suppliers (e.g. hotel, restaurants, transportation) for better rate and/or conditions
Provide information on travel requirements
Assist with customers' requests and handle them appropriately
Place bookings with hotels, restaurants, transportation and provide confirmation to customers
Reconfirm bookings when nearing confirmation deadline and follow up with payment
Update bookings on shared excel spreadsheet
Update rates (hotel, attraction tickets, transportation) in shared excel spreadsheet
Book and print attraction tickets
Coordinate all other travel arrangements including tour guide briefing, assist at hotel (if necessary) or collect keys (for special groups) to ensure smooth travel arrangement
Data entry for monthly pax report
Prepare invoices for customers and hotel commissions
Any other ad-hoc tasks that may be assigned by the Company from time to time
