About the role

We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Sales Assistant to join our retail team at The SGFR Store Pte Ltd's Holland Village store. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and assisting with the day-to-day operations of our vibrant retail space.

What you'll be doing

  1. Greeting and assisting customers with enthusiasm and a friendly demeanour
  2. Providing knowledgeable product recommendations and advice to help customers find the perfect items
  3. Maintaining high standards of store presentation and visual merchandising
  4. Handling cash and card transactions accurately and efficiently
  5. Restocking and replenishing shelves to ensure product availability
  6. Participating in inventory management and stock-taking activities
  7. Supporting the team in implementing promotional campaigns and store events

What we're looking for

  1. Previous experience in a customer-facing retail or service role, preferably in the Retail & Consumer Products industry
  2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a genuine passion for providing excellent customer service
  3. Excellent problem-solving abilities and the flexibility to adapt to changing customer needs and store priorities
  4. A keen eye for detail and the ability to maintain high standards of store presentation
  5. Proficient in handling cash and card transactions
  6. Ability to work effectively as part of a team as well as independently
