Job Responsibilities:

You will work within a team to assist the Assistant Director/Manager to develop and implement policies and procedures for Total Workplace Safety and Health (TWSH) in the Novena campus and manage the operations of the Occupational Health Clinic.

The functional role for this position is to:

  • Coordinate with stakeholders to develop, operationalise and synergise TWSH policies and procedures (i.e., in areas such as safety management system, training and competency, audit etc), ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and standards.
  • Set up and maintain a monitoring and surveillance system for TWSH performance in the Novena campus.
  • Manage regular statistical analysis and operational updates for reporting at the hospital's Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Council and committees.
  • Plan and execute TWSH-related events (e.g. TWSH awards). This includes planning, logistics sourcing, budget management, communications, event evaluation etc.
  • Provide support functions to the Occupational Health Clinic

  • Secretariat role in the hospital's TWSH-related committees. Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree and above in any discipline

  • At least 2-3 years of relevant working experience, preferably in healthcare industry
  • Experience in Workplace Safety and Health and or Occupational Health is an advantage
  • Good communication (oral and written and interpersonal skills
  • Good people and stakeholder management skills, across organizational functions and hierarchy
  • Critical thinker who is analytical, meticulous, and process-oriented
  • Proficient in basic data analytics and management
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity, exercise initiative, manage pressure and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
