Job Title: Export Manager

Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Export Manager to lead our export shipping operations and ensure smooth, compliant, and timely delivery of all shipments. You will oversee a team, work closely with senior leadership, and drive continuous improvements in efficiency, service levels, and operational standards.


Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and coach the export shipping team to deliver high-quality and timely shipments.
  • Oversee export operations, documentation, and ISO9001 compliance.
  • Ensure adherence to Singapore and international customs regulations.
  • Manage forwarders, hauliers, and logistics vendors; negotiate competitive freight rates.
  • Prepare full sets of shipping documents, including Letter of Credit–based documentation.
  • Handle customer enquiries, shipment issues, and logistics solution planning.
  • Monitor shipment activities, verify charges, and prepare reports, forecasts, and contracts.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and statutory authorities for inspections and operational needs.

Requirements
  • Diploma/Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field.
  • 7–10 years' experience in export/logistics, with 3–5 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of export documentation, customs processes, and freight operations.
  • Skilled in vendor management, negotiation, and stakeholder communication.
  • Proficient in Excel; ERP experience (Navision is a plus).
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage fast-paced, time-sensitive operations.
