Responsibilities:

  • Review and analyse tender documents, project preambles, and method of measurement to ensure accurate cost estimation in line with project requirements.

  • Collaborate with Operations, QAQC, and Safety departments to incorporate all execution, technical, and regulatory costs.

  • Prepare tender qualifications and highlight deviations from project specifications.

  • Maintain organized records of clarifications, submissions, and cost estimations.

  • Coordinate with Procurement and Subcontracting teams to source quotations and update cost databases.

  • Prepare and submit cost estimates and summary reports for senior management's pricing strategy decisions.

  • Conduct tender reviews with senior management and tender committee for approval.

  • Update commercial data, market indices, and technical cost information for informed decision-making.

  • Prepare project budgets for handover to the production team upon award.

  • Perform post-mortem analyses on completed and unsuccessful tenders to improve future bids.

  • Mentor junior estimators, review their work, and provide guidance to ensure accuracy.

Requirements:

  • Degree/Diploma in any Engineering or technical discipline

  • 5 years of experience as an Estimator in Oil & Gas / Marine & Offshore sector

  • Oil & Gas fabrication estimating experience preferred
