Job Vacancy: Catering Chef
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Catering Chef to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in preparing a wide range of international cuisines and capable of delivering high-quality dishes for various catering events.
Position: Catering Chef
Employment Type: Full-Time
Starting Salary: SGD $2,800
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and prepare meals for catering services across a variety of event types and sizes.
- Ensure the quality, taste, and presentation of all dishes meet company standards.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene, safety, and cleanliness in the kitchen at all times.
- Collaborate with the catering and service team to ensure timely execution and delivery.
- Manage inventory, food costs, and kitchen operations efficiently.
Culinary Expertise Required:
Applicants must demonstrate proficiency in the preparation of the following cuisines:
- Nusantara (Indonesian/Malay)
- Oriental (Chinese)
- Western (European/American)
- Indian
- Japanese
- Korean
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant culinary experience, preferably in catering or hospitality settings.
- Strong knowledge of international culinary techniques and presentation styles.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Formal culinary training or certification is an advantage.
