Our client, a well-known company is looking for candidates for the position of Operations Assistant.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with various teams to perform monthly bunker inventory checks, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
  • Process supplier invoices and prepare Accounts Payable vouchers for operational expenses related to store supplies and bunker purchases.
  • Prepare and manage Bills of Lading and other cargo-related documentation in collaboration with vessels, agents, and charterers.
  • Monitor and update vessel schedules, port calls, and voyage documentation to ensure compliance with operational procedures.
  • Maintain organized filing systems and documentation records, update operational databases, and offer general administrative support to the operations team.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or degree in Maritime Studies, Logistics, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in operations assistance or shipping administration.
  • Strong attention to detail and effective communication skills.
  • Good organizational abilities and proficiency in MS Office, along with familiarity with shipping documentation processes.
